Preparing your child for a photoshoot
- Having
your child rested is important!
- Your
portrait can be as formal or informal as you wish but all
family members dressing in similar styles and colour coordination
will add appeal to your portrait collection.
- Generally,
no more than one group member should wear patterned clothing,
because contrasting patterns crash.
- Bold
colours look striking and can be teamed with very dark colours,
white, or off-white.
- You
may like to lay everyone's clothes out together on a bed
to check that the colours go well together.
- Alternatively,
you may wish to wear clothing which suit the decor which
your portrait will be displayed.
- To
avoid a (5 O'Clock) shadow, we suggest men shave beforehand
if possible.
- Personal
touches will add warmth and meaning to your portraits. You
may wish to bring along a favourite toy, trophy, sentimental
piece of jewellery or a special outfit.
